seeking God :]

hey y`all!
so today was great. went to church and saw my favorite people :] learned about the new class the girls are doin with Kim this summer and went to the park and hung out. so i did my devotion last night on seeking God! And so ill start off with one of my favorite verses. Hebrew 11:6, which says, "But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that dilligently seek him." this is probably the best verse about seeking God that i wrote down. it tells us alot. it tells us:
1. it is impossible to please God if we do not have complete faith.
2. when we go to God we have to believe that he'll do what he says
3. we must dilligently seek him.
so, when seeking God, we need to do these 3 things :] also, Jerimiah 29:13 says, "You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart" which makes another point:
4. we must seek him with our whole heart.
Lamentations 3:25 says, "The Lord is good to those whos hope is in him, to the one who seeks him" so, that reinforces the faith thing. we must have hope when we seek him. he answers us, and is good to us. 1 Chronicles 16:10-11 says, "Let the hearts of those who seek the Lord rejoice. Look to the Lord and his strength; seek his face always" so basically, this leaves us with another question: when do we seek God? Answer: whenever we need him. when we have a problem, we need to look to him, and to realize that he is stronger than us, and it is only through him that we are strong.
