hey y`all!
so after a long hard day, and a lot of dancing...WE GOT FIRST PLACEE!! && i would def. like to thank Jesus on that one b/c he really answered our prayers on giving us confidence and really showing out :] DONT MESS WITH CS! haha. sorry. but i know it wasnt all of us up there dancing that accomplished that, it was Jesus who gave us the ability! so i'd like to give the glory to him, and not me, or my team, or my teacher. welp me & chelsea are tired and hungry, && waiting on my mother to make us some quesadillas. haha. i also ran into my long lost friend Taylor Moon! we used to baby sit her when she was little and i havent seen that girlie in forever. it was great. so all in all, i didnt let the happenings of last night get me down, && i kept my faith in Jesus...and it was amazing! shows you what the Lord can do!

my devotion last night...
hey y`all.
its early, haha. i've got a competition today in furman, wish me luck! so i went to mileback speedway with my friend kelly last night, it was pretty fun. my friend Max was there to tell me all about the race, b/c i dont understand cars very well. haha. but then i got a phone call, and it made me pretty upset, but we wont get into that right now, i know Jesus is going to make it okay. & so im just going to put my faith in him. i read in Colossians last night. verses 13-17. its some really good scripture. it talks about forgiving people, and doing all you do in God's name, and letting the word of Christ dwell in you and to "sing with grace in our hearts to the lord" and letting the peace of God rule in your heart. which was really what i needed to read last night b/c of that phone call...telling me that i need to just let God rule my broken heart, and he'll fix it, the smartest thing i ever heard someone say was a speaker at New Hope one time said "Nobody can fix your heart but the one that created it" & that reminds me to put my faith in God anytime this stuff happens. but i also wont lie, i am very upset about it, but i know that Jesus will make it better :]] so, if anyone knows how to help a hurt knee tell me, b/c i've tore something in the back of mine, and its killing me. and i have to dance on it, & thats not gunna be healthy. welp anyway, i've got to go get ready for my competition, & then pick up chelsea! so ill write more tonight y`all. OH && does anyone know when we're having Praise Band practice?? if so, please notify me haha.

yes, i am a JESUS FREAK!
hey yall!
first i have to say, NEW HOPE! holla!! haha.
its 2nd period as usual, we had alot of work in here today, but i've finished early. so basically the Toby Mac concert last night was amazingg!! yall know you like me ashley & rachels dancing too! it was so much fun, and it was so great to see so many people out there prasing Jesus! i still dont think my ears have completely recovered but thats okay! haha. Jesus is abosolutley amazing, and if your reading this and you dont know Jesus, i def think you should get to know him!! buliding 429 was pretty great too [i think thats their name haha] it was the 2nd band, i liked their music alott. i read ephesians (sp?) 4:29 last night for my devotion, its a pretty great verse if i do say so myself. i also liked thousand foot krutch alot. im extremely hyper at the moment b/c we had a party today in 1st period and i drank a ton of mountain dew and ate really sugary stuff...haha, and as usual...i got chocolate on my pants. i swear i cannot eat chocolate without getting it on my clothes! i've def. pulled a muscle in my knee, and so i can barley walk and i have to dance at a competition tomorrow, so pleasee pray for me. i really want our team to do good in the competition tomorrow, and i dont want to mess us up b/c i have a messed up knee. though its from the way Amy stretched us out on wednesdsay at dance. so basically, ITS THE LAST DAY OF SCHOOL BEFORE SPRING BREAK! YESS. i am pretty much excited && excited about doing things with the youth group over spring break. well i have a physical science test today, so y`all pray i do well on that, b/c i reallyyy need a good grade in there. oh! and if your wondering about my report card, i got 5 A's and 2 B's! also, congrats Candace on your first goal in lax last nightt!! and great job on the game girls, only 1 point, you'll get 'em next time!! well the bell is going to ring soo, so ill talk to y`all later!

our God is an awesome God :]
hey everyone!
im in second period as usual after enduring another hour of my teacher reading that boring book, again. oh well, we're having a party tomorrow, haha. anyway, im totally excited about seeing Toby Mac tonight, i love Christian concerts, its really nice to hear them talk about Jesus. My devotion last night was intresting, i read about how Jesus healed the people & such, we all know the story, but its nice to read it for myself and all the wonderful things Jesus did while he was here, and that hes still doing now from Heaven. anyway, last night was interesting, and a couple phone calls left me very confused. so y`all pray for my confusion, b/c it really is giving me a headache. im not gunna get into all of it, but yeah. im not gunna let it get me down, b/c i know Jesus is right here to help me through everything and that he only wants what is best for me, so everything will be okay :]. i wanna congradulate chelsea for playing a great game at her lax game last night, way to go girl!! and also good luck to my lax ladies as the take on clinton at home tonight, i wish i could be there! and weston, i hope you feel better i know you were in a bad mood this morning, but thanks a ton for being there for me last night as you always are when im upset. we get report cards in 2 periods, ahhh! haha. thats pretty much scary. so im pretty much mad b/c my pants have a hole in them & i didnt know it haha, i cant wait to go home and changee! haha. i can barely walk up stairs, b/c my dance teacher tried to kill us last night with stretching us out, haha, and my school has a whole lot of stairs, so i am pretty sore. but atleast it'll make me a better dancer--in the long run--im not sure i could dance right now. haha.
well ima go, before this thing becomes a novel!

pooped from this day of runningg!
hey yall. me again! i am so tired! today was the busiest day like...ever. but i am happy to say that my teeth are clean, i am absolutely sore from dance practice tonight, AND i learned about Jesus and his Deciples [best thing today] && got to fellowship with the best people on this earth--all the people at new hope! welp this was going to be alot longer...but kody just called...so im gunna go talk to him haha ill write more tomorrow

tired and busy!
hey everyone!
welp i just endured an hour of my english teacher reading "A Tale of Two Cities" which has to be possibly the most boring book on the face of this earth. not to mention, reading to me, is def. not going to keep my attetion, im 16 and i can read for myself, haha. and im sitting here wondering why cant we ever read something more interesting, like the Bible, during english class. i have absolutely no idea why they pick the most boring books for us to read in english class, its like they want to torture us. anywho, enough complaning about english class. im in 2nd period at the moment, and we're not doing anything in here b/c our class is mostly juniors and all the juniors are gone for an assembly. today is a very busy day, i have to go to the dentist directly after school, and then i have dance practice, pray for us, b/c we have a competition saturday! and then after that i've got youth Bible study at church, which has to be the best thing today by far. im also pretty much excited about the Toby Mac concert tomorrow, haha. my best friend, Weston, scared the living daylights out of me this morning when he popped up out of nowhere at my locker this morning. i must say, i screamed pretty loud, and chelsea thought it was hilarious. i made an 88 on my science project yesterday, which isnt a horrible grade, but i def. have to say my teachers grading wasnt fair. rachel & chelsea would agree, ask them. haha. soo...anyway good luck to Chelsea & Candace at their lacrosse game against Greenville tonight! and also-pastor Chad-i really do hope the Clemson Tigers win the NIT tournament! i totally have to agree with the American idol thing, that Sanjay dude is def. a weird one. haha

hey y`all! me again. soo about my day! it was pretty good. at dance we worked hard & i do believe that we are going to do good at this competition on saturday! amy actually complimented me on my soloish part, so im pretty happy. i LOVE jeremy camp! haha. that was random, but seriously i just love his songs. so im def pumped about the Toby Mac concert on thursday :] haha. i love concerts. anywho i hope everyone had a good day!

2nd period post
hello everyone!
im sitting in 2nd period, and i figured i'd post something on here b/c i've finished all my work. i listened to pastor chad's sermon on "what if we dreamed big" last night, b/c i missed that sunday b/c of a dance competition and i do have to say it was a really good sermon, and i def. feel that God is going to do great things at nhbc. welp anyway theres not really much to say about my day since i've only been at school for 2 hours, but it gives me something to do in this boring class room. i forgot my science project in the car this morning [typical me] but my mother brought it so its all good. haha and me & chelsea got lost trying to find this one class room this morning, but thats pretty much the events so far of my day haha. ill post another one later.

my first blog
Hey everyone! this is my first blog on this thing, so bear with me. I created this so i could post comments on my pastor, youth paster, music minister, from new hope's blogs. First off, i want to say New Hope is positively the best church on the face of this earth, and i am so excited to have found it! bear with me & the praiseband members as we go through adjustments lately all of ya`ll haha. anyway...so on about my day...its been pretty good. i think i did good on my math quiz, and i didnt have any other tests today. lets see...on to prayer requests/praise reoports
